Meet the Insight Team

Alex is responsible for setting the vision and for the overall success of the business. He develops long term strategies for business growth based on market trends and expansion opportunities. Alex is a resource for the managers as he has been involved in all aspects of the business.

In 2008 Alex started Insight Service Solutions Inc. as a one man operation, with the simple desire to support his growing family, to work hard and challenge himself. Since then Insight has grown to over 30+ employees with over 15 service vehicles, and is now a leader in the commercial exterior building maintenance and cleaning services market in Winnipeg.

Alex has a passion for all things business including coaching, staff development, business structures and systems. Alex’s excitement really shines through when talking about any aspect of Insight, or business in general. Alex has an infectious personality that genuinely gets you excited to be a part of his team, and encourages you to take on new challenges. He truly believes in all his staff, even if they don’t believe in themselves at the time.

Tenacity is a very important quality to Alex. He believes in being competitive while still being humble, and there is no substitute or shortcut for genuine hard work.

Hobbies: Hanging out with his Wife Kim & 5 daughters, beach volleyball, running, board games.

Jon’s role at  Insight is to oversee all aspects of the day to day operations of the business and ensure that they are running well. Provide direction and support to the  managers to enable them to do their jobs with excellence.

Jon has a  passion for  seeing people achieve their goals and being a part of helping it happen! From someone with aspirations to be a high rise employee finishing their first building, to the company hitting its financial targets, it's all exciting and rewarding.

For the first part of his career, Jon had largely focused his time on leadership in manufacturing. He worked at every level from a hands-on role (very similar to our Lead Hand position), to managing the supervisors of multiple departments. Jon has taken continuing education courses from Red River College and CME, focused around management and efficiency.

In addition to this experience has spent some time as a technology sales associate, a vehicle detailer, and an oilfield contractor ( just to name a few!)

What Jon enjoys most about working at Insight is the people that he works with!  He also enjoys the tangible improvement that we get to see from a job well done, those buildings look SO much better after we work on them!

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, video games, reading and running.

Dana's role is to oversee Insights accounting, payroll, and overall general administration needs. Whether it's onboarding a new business system, planning exciting staff events, or onboarding a business acquisition, Dana is willing to take on any challenge!

Dana graduated with a Diploma in Business Administration from Red River College Polytechnic. Since graduating she has spent over 14 years in the construction industry performing accounting and various office tasks. She has a passion for helping and caring for her coworkers and creating an enjoyable culture where people genuinely enjoy working.

What Dana really likes about working at Insight is the supportive atmosphere and creative freedom. Together we strive to do better and encourage each other with new ideas, it’s invigorating!

Hobbies: Camping at the trailer park, working out,  any type of sport, baking, fermenting foods.

Octavia’s main area of focus at Insight is driving new Sales for the business. The majority of Octavia's time is spent in digging for new opportunities, creating detailed estimates and following up with prospective clients to close deals. Octavia manages the sales team, and her main goal is to fill gaps in our annual schedule and find new ideal customers for us to work with.

Octavia has experience in management, marketing, sales and customer service. She has been involved in all stages of business development from planning, budgeting, and managing large scale projects. In her work career thus far she has been involved in marketing, graphic design and enjoys diving straight into her work and optimizing her strengths to help out her fellow team members.

One of Octavia’s greatest strengths is problem solving – she is always looking for an innovative/ creative way of different approaches in completing a task.

Hobbies: Creating art, crocheting, reading, animating.

Armando’s role at Insight is to manage our technicians, assist them in the day to day operations, and help tackle any issues that may arise to help the jobs run smoothly.

Armando is originally from Brazil, where he has his Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and a Master Degree in Education. In Brazil, he was a Martial Arts Instructor for over 25 years and used to manage a team of 15 Instructors. Since immigrating to Canada Armando has had various management positions, most recently in duct cleaning.

Armando enjoys meeting new people and getting to know them. At insight, he enjoys the team culture, and working with all the staff, from the office to the production team, everyone is very pleasant to work with.

Hobbies: Exploring nature, biking and hiking.

Paulette’s role includes scheduling daily jobs for all the technicians, preplanning weeks ahead for large jobs and daily customer interaction. She has 11 years of experience in the construction industry providing customer service and dispatching. She is friendly and outgoing, and sure to make your service enjoyable and run smoothly. Prior to scheduling and dispatch she was a dog groomer for 12 years!

Paulette’s sensitive and fun loving nature has made a huge impact to our office team. Paulette enjoys strategy games, and applies this thinking to her dispatching to find the perfect fit for both our customers and field staff. At Insight she enjoys the positive, steady work, and team atmosphere; everyone is very cooperative and willing to help out to get things done!

Hobbies: Summertime boating, fishing, swimming, and collecting rocks and driftwood for her pebble art.

Tristan leads field operations at Insight Service Solutions, where he plays a key role in training new technicians, streamlining day-to-day processes, and developing standard operating procedures that support safety, consistency, and excellence in service delivery.

With a strong passion for mentoring others, Tristan is dedicated to helping team members grow in their roles, master best practices, and prioritize safety on every job site. He brings a calm, solutions-focused mindset to the field and thrives in complex, large-scale projects that require creative problem-solving and logistical coordination.

Outside of work, Tristan enjoys reading, writing, and honing his skills through hunting and target practice.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, and hunting/ target practice.

Becky brings over seven years of experience in customer service leadership, account management, and operations support to her role at Insight Service Solutions. With a strong background in team coordination, client communication, and process improvement, she ensures customers receive prompt, professional, and personalized service every step of the way.

Known for her calm under pressure and solutions-first mindset, Becky excels at handling escalations, training new team members, and developing systems that support long-term efficiency. Whether she’s coordinating schedules, resolving concerns, or refining workflows, her attention to detail and passion for service consistently drive high-quality outcomes.

Becky thrives in fast-paced environments and is dedicated to creating smooth, positive experiences for both customers and coworkers alike.

Hobbies: Making music, gardening, painting, and reading

Jason leads customer service and residential operations at Insight Service Solutions, managing a wide range of responsibilities from handling client inquiries to overseeing the day-to-day performance of the residential team. Whether it's coordinating quotes for window cleaning, gutter cleaning, or house washing, Jason ensures every interaction—via phone, email, or SMS—is met with professionalism, clarity, and care. He also helps maintain steady daily bookings and collaborates with the commercial team to keep technicians fully utilized when needed, all while supporting key administrative functions behind the scenes.

Jason’s career began in the call center industry in 2007 and evolved through years as a virtual assistant before joining Insight. With a background in Information Technology and a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management, he brings a unique mix of technical know-how, service expertise, and people-first leadership.

What Jason values most about Insight is the sense of family. He’s motivated not just by results, but by the mutual respect and camaraderie that define the culture. His work philosophy is simple but powerful: “If someone entrusts you with a responsibility, handle it with utmost care.” It’s a mindset he brings to every task—treating each duty with the same dedication he gives to those he cares about.

Outside of work, Jason is an avid martial artist who trains in boxing, Muay Thai, and jiu-jitsu from home. He believes physical health is essential, working out five days a week to stay sharp and energized. When he’s not babysitting, you’ll find him in his backyard garden, growing vegetables and ornamental plants—or tuning into his favorite podcasts, from Joe Rogan to deep-dive conspiracy shows on Spotify.

Hobbies: Martial Arts, Growing vegetables and listening to podcasts

Tiffany plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of Insight Service Solutions. She manages full-cycle accounting, including daily financial transactions, payroll, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. With a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and confidentiality, Tiffany ensures our financial systems run smoothly and efficiently.

She holds an Accounting Specialist Diploma from Robertson College and brings over five years of experience in the accounting field. Known for her problemsolving skills and love of numbers, Tiffany has led large-scale data cleanup projects and supported detailed audit processes in both corporate and construction environments.

What Tiffany enjoys most about working at Insight is the supportive team culture and the satisfaction of keeping everything balanced behind the scenes.

Hobbies: Spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, and baking.

Aniza brings over seven years of experience in the construction and maintenance industry to her role as Sales Representative at Insight Service Solutions. With a solid background in engineering and project management, she blends technical know-how with excellent communication to deliver maintenance solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proactive mindset, Aniza ensures every project runs smoothly—from the first consultation to completion. Her adaptability and tech-savviness allow her to thrive in fast-paced environments, and she is passionate about building long-term client relationships.

Hobbies: Outside of work, Aniza is a proud mom of two and enjoys spending her free time singing, playing guitar, and gardening.

Shaniel’s role at Insight centers on supporting the Sales team by preparing detailed estimates, following up with customers, and finding new leads to drive business growth. Whether it’s responding to inquiries or helping move a project forward, Shaniel plays a key part in ensuring potential and existing clients receive the attention and service they deserve.

With experience in administration, operations, and sales, Shaniel brings a wellrounded skillset to the team. Her ability to quickly adapt to new systems and challenges allows her to jump into new tasks with confidence and efficiency. As a fast learner, she thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys continuously expanding her knowledge and capabilities.

What Shaniel loves most about working at Insight is the supportive and warm environment. She enjoys getting to know people and believes that genuine connections make collaboration more meaningful. She appreciates being part of a team that encourages growth, shares knowledge, and celebrates each other’s wins!

Hobbies: Reading, video games, boxing, pickleball

Tanner brings a unique blend of marketing savvy, sales experience, and creative energy to his role in Business Development at Insight Service Solutions. With a background in property management, digital marketing, and event coordination, he’s focused on driving growth, building relationships, and making sure Insight’s services connect with the right clients at the right time.

Before joining Insight, Tanner served as Sales & Marketing Manager for a local property management company, where he led targeted ad campaigns, improved SEO performance, and developed engaging content strategies that boosted visibility and lead generation. He also gained valuable leasing experience at Broadstreet Properties, where he consistently met occupancy targets and honed his client communication and administrative skills.

Tanner is a Business Administration honours graduate from Red River College Polytechnic with a major in marketing. He’s especially skilled in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and data analysis skills which he puts to work daily to support Insight’s growth and outreach goals.

Outside of work, Tanner is an active DJ, promoter, and event coordinator. He’s known for high-energy sets at clubs and festivals across Manitoba and beyond, and he hosts a biweekly mix show on Energy 106. That same passion for connecting with people and creating great experiences carries into his work at Insight, where he helps grow the brand and build meaningful client relationships.

Hobbies: DJing and music production, Supporting live music and local events, Boating and soaking up the sun, Patio-hopping and enjoying a cold drink, Watching stand-up comedy, Listening to podcasts
